Fantasy short - 16 minute VHS film - unreleased The hero gets a call from the future. Turns out its himself with instructions on how to program a time telephone. Problem is, it doesn't work strictly according to plan. Carl also wrote this film, which was a headliner in the Detonate Independent Film Exhibition last year. Horror / Thriller - VHS film - unreleased This independently produced film, despite its brevity (11 minutes), manages to scare the behoosis out of everyone who views it. Carl wrote this film, as well as directed it. The film was featured last year in the Detonate Independent Film Exhibition. and "Save Target As..." to download RED TIDE (28Mb). Fantasy Drama / Humor - motion picture - theatrical release A low budget film that won critical acclaim, location-shooting in New York gives it an authentic ring. Three Bronx buddies (Kevin Corrigan, Mick Cunningham, Michael Lowry) are stuck in a life-sucking rut, with apparently no way out. Only Dot (Corrigan) seems to even want to escape the all-embracing, beer-drinking, gambling sinkhole of their lives. A strange investment proposition offers options, and the three take a chance with a character named Mr. Lazarus. As Dot tries to lift himself from the mire of his existence, he meets a girl and falls in love. When the investment turns out to be other than what it seemed, Dot is forced to choose between his buddies and the girl he loves. (Note: Carl wrote the screenplay and was Second Unit Director for this film.) |
