Carl has been been a part of the motion picture industry for over
13 years and has earned the respect of fellow writers, and the directors, editors, producers, cast and crew with whom he has worked. Although he has been involved in many aspects of film making, his focus and greatest successes to date have been in
the writing field. The following are all productions for which Carl
wrote the script, either in whole or in collaboration, and either
as Carl V. Dupré or as Carl Dupré.

Last Call Studio TBA 2005	*Psychological thriller - short motion picture - unreleased* Indy director Mohamed Khan has taken on the shooting of LAST CALL, a short psychological thriller based on Carl's short story "Victim Type." The film is being shot in Los Angeles March 11th through 16th, 2005. Watch this spot for updates on the progress of the film.
Hellraiser VIII: Hellworld Dimension, 2005	*Horror - motion picture - Video/DVD release* This 8th in the Hellraiser series revolves around five teenage kids playing a spooky computer game that demands more of them than a quick hand and an alert eye. Lance Henriksen headlines as the vengeful father of a boy called Adam who died in the belief he was giving his soul to Pinhead. HELLWORLD promises to satisfy fans and bring new twists to the evolving plotline of this cult hit. (Note: Shot on location in Romania.) This film has been completed and is now available at your local DVD retailer.
Hellraiser VI: Hellseeker (also known as Hellraiser V) Dimension, 2002	*Horror - motion picture - Video/DVD release* The puzzle box, best known as the "Lament Configuration," has been solved again and the demonic Pinhead (Doug Bradley) has returned to Earth again with his legion of Cenobites to bring torture and death to those who stand in his way. Pinhead's previous nemesis, Kirsty Cotton (Ashley Laurence), is also back and ready to fight Pinhead and the Cenobites once again.
Strange Frequency: Soul Man VH1, 2001	*Science Fiction / Horror - first episode of a half-hour TV series* *- original air date Aug. 18/01* Mitch (James Marsters) works for a band as a guitar technician, but he longs to step into the shoes of the band's lead. At a guitar shop, Mitch discovers music that just may be the last song that was ever written by the legendary Jimi Hendrix. The storekeeper assures Mitch that whoever plays the music will summon the devil. Unable to resist the temptation, Mitch plays the music and a mysterious talent scout named Simon (played by Roger Daltrey, the lead singer of the legendary band The Who) arrives asking to represent him. But at what price?
Red Tide Broken Spirits, 2000	*Horror / Thriller - VHS film - unreleased* This independently produced film, despite its brevity (11 minutes), manages to scare the behoosis out of everyone who views it. It shows the hand of a master screenwriter. The film was featured last year in the Detonate Independent Film Exhibition. and "Save Target As..." to download RED TIDE (28Mb). The Time Telephone Broken Spirits, 2000	*Fantasy short - 16 minute VHS film - unreleased* The hero gets a call from the future. Turns out its himself with instructions on how to program a time telephone. Problem is, it doesn't work strictly according to plan. Carl also directed this film, which was a headliner in the Detonate Independent Film Exhibition last year. The film stars Ralph Dickinson as the hero. and "Save Target As..." to download THE TIME TELEPHONE (41Mb). (Note: Quicktime Player required - go here for free download of player.)
The Prophecy 3: The Ascent Dimension, 2000	*Horror / Dark Humor - motion picture - Video/DVD release* An energetic and satisfying conclusion to the Prophecy trilogy, THE ASCENT finds Angel of Death Gabriel (Christopher Walken) still wandering Earth as a half human...and the battle of the angelic forces continue. Packed with compelling dialogue, dark wit, and great action, the film proves that sequels can so deliver the punches.
Broke Even Independent, 2000	*Fantasy Drama / Humor - motion picture - theatrical release* A low budget film that won critical acclaim, location-shooting in New York gives it an authentic ring. Three Bronx buddies (Kevin Corrigan, Mick Cunningham, Michael Lowry) are stuck in a life-sucking rut, with apparently no way out. Only Dot (Corrigan) seems to even want to escape the all-embracing, beer-drinking, gambling sinkhole of their lives. A strange investment proposition offers options, and the three take a chance with a character named Mr. Lazarus. As Dot tries to lift himself from the mire of his existence, he meets a girl and falls in love. When the investment turns out to be other than what it seemed, Dot is forced to choose between his buddies and the girl he loves.
Detroit Rock City New Line, 1999	*Adventure / Comedy - moton picture - theatrical release* The film focuses on four teenage boys growing up in the 1970's. They hate disco, but worship the rock-and-roll band KISS. One of the guys obtains KISS tickets, but his mother is horrified when she discovers them. So, instead of allowing her son to go see the concert, she destroys all four of the tickets. Devastated, the boys plot ways and means to get to see their idols. Their pilgrimage leads them into all kinds of trouble, including takng their clothes off at the local male strip club's amateur night (à la The Full Monty). A big highlight for Carl, a huge KISS fan himself, was the agreement of KISS to actually appear in the film. This appearance by KISS is the crowning touch to the film's hilarious romp through 1970's coming-of-age teen rebellion and angst.
Bone Chillers ABC-TV, 1996	*Horror / Drama / Humor - TV series (with Matthew Bates)* As if just making it through the teen years weren't scary enough, the students at Edgar Allen Poe High School are faced with bad cafeteria food AND monsters. Each week a different scary challenge helps the kids grow up, perhaps not in the way they were expecting. Based on the books by Betsy Haynes.
Del Corazon's Curse Cemetery Dance Books October 2004	*Short Horror Story* Presented in an upcoming anthology entitled MIDNIGHT PREMIERES.
Ryan Marries the Toad Princess	Short scifi fantasy "a touching love story about murder, infidelity and marrying outside your species..."
Bag of Hands	Short noir thriller "a new twist on the old hitchhiker tale..."

Carl has also written many unproduced speculation scripts, most notably ROADKILL, which sold to Overseas/FirstLook in 2000, where it is languishing in development; THE LOVE GOD, which was awarded an Honorable Mention from the 1998 Writer's Digest Writing Competition; and PRECINCT 666, a television pilot co-written with Mark Frost of TWIN PEAKS fame, which sold to Fox Television in 1999.
